~My Saturday~

Saturday was an exciting and busy day! I started off babysitting and ending up getting Hayden stitches! I watched my sweet Ms. Kylee (Brown bear) and got to take her to the FCC pool party. That was a treat to get to show her off. It was also a handful keeping up with all three kids. It was good practice from when my baby girl gets home.

Playing on the floor with Hayden! Don't you just love that face!
Elmo!
Pool Party! The slide was a hit, but what's with the mask?
I'm diving in!

Hayden ended up with 4 stitches after his run in with the tile. He held up good getting sewed up! I was nervous for him. That was a first for us!

~You need to read this post~

OK, so we're heading up to Pikes Peak. We start up the mountain. Now keep in mind we're going up 14 thousand feet. The road was open all the way to the top! Yeah! So we drive!! Around curve after curve! Well, about 12,000 we decided to stop at the gift shop. We all need to use the restroom and I was going to look for Ethan a jacket. I get out of the van head up a Rock Walk Way, step over a rock and happen to look down. What did I see?
Do you see it?

Yelp....it is...
Conformation! That's what I saw. A little symbol of hope! A sign, a gift, a message! Peace of mind, even in Colorado. That "This to shall pass". My heavy heart, my every tear! He's know all about it! I will hold My Baby girl. I will wait, I will Make it!!!

Pictures from trip

We had a great time in Colorado and Arizona, but there's no place like home. The pictures start on Day 1 in Colorado. You will have to roll down to see them all. It sure made some long post. Plus, that's not even all my pictures, I took over 4oo. You can tell we stayed busy. Enjoy the pictures.

~Day 8 headed home & Day 1 leaving home~

Day 1..Thursday flying out to Colorado. He was so excited.
The clouds were awesome.

This was their 1st time to fly. They really enjoyed.

Maw maw and her man.
This is the plan leaving Colorado. Yeah we're heading home.
Oh my ears!

Sitting at the airport in Colorado.
So long Colorado. It was fun, but it time to go home!

He' s got his backpack and he's ready. Headed to airport, leaving uncle Todd's house.
Paw paw's boy!

Day 6 and 7

Wednesday morning we got up and started our road trip back to Colorado. The sites of Arizona were great. The boys had a really good time and they did great in the van riding so much.

This is some hot springs in Pagoca Springs, Colorado.
They thought the hot water was neat.

This is Treasure Falls. The boys hiked up with their paw paw.
I know...wow!

This is Thursday. We got up from Todd's and drove over to Pikes Peak. Talk about cold. It was below 40. We saw some snow/ice.
It's so beautiful!

You could see for ever.
Little Ethan was cold. I tried to buy him a jacket ,but they didn't have anything to fit him in the gift shop.

The sign says it all. We stopped by and let the kids play. The North Pole is at the bottom of Pikes Peak.

Spinning....

Riding on the train.
He was taking it all in.

Day 5 The South Rim of the Grand Canyon

A book on The Grand Canyon said that nearly 5 million people a year visit the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Wow! That's a lot. Between the North Rim and the South Rim I liked the South the best. They were both beautiful, but there's just something about the south rim. I guess it's one of those places you will just have to see for your self to decide.

The Desert View! My favorite.

This is the watchtower, it over looks the Desert View.
This is the Colorado River.
All of us at lunch. We ate at El Tovar. It's in a lodge and you can see the Grand Canyon out the windows. It was very nice.

Wonder who this is?

You can see the river closer and the bridge.

My parents!
Some folks walking out to the edge looking!

Wow....
Another shot of the Desert View.

The crew, but my brother is cut off.
Me and my sweet boys!

Day 4 The North Rim of the Grand Canyon

We made it!!! The North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was something to see. I was amazed at how it looked. You know you hear about and see it on TV and in pictures, but to see it yourself. There is no words.
Three little monkeys.

They performed for us at the Grand Canyon. We had a picnic, and it was so much fun.

It was beautiful.
The Grand Canyon in black and white.

As far as you it's just unreal.

It's looks so perfect.
Paw paw's little buddy.

Day 3 Road trip

Day 3 was the road trip to the Grand Canyon. We left at 7 in the morning and drove until about 11 that night. We stopped at so many places on the way. I saw some beautiful sites. The pictures don't really do it justice. Some things you just have to see yourself.

A picture from up top!
Mesa Verde. Cool Indian Dwelling we went to on the way to the Grand Canyon.

Chimmy Rock!
Elk or Mule deer. We couldn't tell.
It was cold. Unbelievable how the weather works.

Snow, snow, snow...we we're throwing snowballs at each other.

Pictures of the creek.
Stop by some creek on the way. The water was freezing. It was fun!

Pictures don't to the trick, you need to see it in person.

Walking in the water towards the sand.

The Sand Dunes. Now this is something to see.

Mt . Blanca...snow in July.

Mt. Blanca..14,345 feet. Higher than Pikes Peaks. Check out the snow!
